does clicking ads in cached pages pay?

I'm thinking of using a meta tag to disallow caching my pages in search engines. But before I do, I need to know: is there any potential or revenue that could possibly come from someone viewing a cached page and then click on an ad there?
does adsense count such clicks made from search engine-cached pages?

As far as I know yes, all pages which include your publisher code are counted as clicks, including those cached by the search engines.

If an ad is weeks or months old, the advertiser may no longer be active ... not sure how they would respond to a bill from Google at that point. If the advertiser still has an campaign running, then the lead is a lead and I'm guessing it would be counted as a click.

The ads arent cached - just the code - therefore the Adsense ads are current.

The ads are pulled live, even from the cache.

Search engine cache the page text NOT the ads.so ads are always live served from Google.
