Download adsense script

a strange "pop-up" in Firefox

Just been browing around and visited a site which invited me to "download google adsense script". I'm not blessed with the biggest tech-brain in the world, and this one's got me confused.

I think this might be a genuine stuff-up on the part of the webmaster, as ads did appear properly in the site's forum.

Alternatively, could it be something nasty, like a virus? Just wondered if anyone had seen this happen elsewhere?

I visited my own site with Firefox the other day and a pop up appeared bringing me to a site that I could not recall its name because I am in the habit of closing pop up immediately whenever I see them.

I am worried that my site been hacked or affected by some kind of virus.

Mistra, I wondered if it was anything to do with the "adsense Trojan" mentioned in other threads.

View source indicates that ads should be showing, all the adsense code is there, but instead of displaying ads, I'm invited to download the script. Clearly this isn't what's supposed to happen :)

Anyone?
