Hello,

i had a rather good surprise today, the first click of the day was worth *** "many" dollars!

nevers seen this before, overall the earnings/per click are growing .

do you see the same pattern?

[removed specifics, forgot about the tos]

I've had something similar happen a few times now, and I gave thought at the time that it might just be the stats catching up from the day before. There have been a couple of threads based on that notion here before, and generally the idea was poo-pooed.

The only thing to do is just sit back and enjoy it when it happens :)

Well done,

That happened to me the other day.

My usual clicks are $0.XX, but this one was way up there, $XX.XX!

nice surprise.

I believe these days that impressions and clicks may be cached at a different rate so it's not possible to determine such information. A few months ago I believe it was possible, which is why Google changed it, so it would not be possible to know such information.

i doubt google plays around by allocating clicks and revenues to different sets of impressions.

when trying different ad sizes or colors, i can measure changes in clicks/ctr within the next update (seems like every 3 or 4 hours to me). also tried making changes at midnight and seems that the ctr fluctuates as expected, so i'm pretty sure one day's revenue isn't 'shared' over to another.

I agree. That's why sometimes several updates during the day show our earnings increasing by $1-2 for each update and sometimes it jumps $50.
