A positive note about Google search

Even if it doesn't generate much income

I'm certainly not going to be able to purchase my own island with AdSense income generated by the Google search box on my pages.

But I'm finding the "Top Search Queries" report to be valuable intelligence.

Hmmm...that is odd. Although my report shows queries this week, when I try to look at "Top Queries" is says that there aren't any.

Is there a really big lag while they compile the queries data? I only just threw search on the site in question less than a week ago.

When I added a search box to my site, it did take a few days before results started showing up. However, top queries seem to only show if there are at least two searches for the same thing.

I have seen searches that use the same keyword more than 4 times and it's not the type of keyword that people would normally put in there - so I wonder if those people are stutter-submitting or if there's a bug with the search.
