Best place for Ads?Colors?

what the best places to put ads. and what colors are good for getting clicks.? bright colors?

how do you guys make it look less like an add.. thanks

I have found that either blended or a bright red border(with blended interior)works best for my sites. If possible, use blue type for the link colors, they do best in general. The best position for me is this... with A being Adsense(a large rectangle), C being content, and N being navigation:

Why would you want to do that? - why? I rarely click on adverts, if it looks like a link I may well click it.

Television has made the general population feel the same way as Essex_boy. Almost noone actually enjoys seeing adverts. To the OP... make them look less like ads by using Adsense instead of flashy banners, pop-ups or pop-unders.

While I often click on Adwords ads before SERPS, I don't believe I have ever clicked on an Adsense ad.

I am in a different mode, when visiting serch engines, than I am when visiting other web sites.
