Google adsense for search question

I understand that it’s not allowed to have Google Adsense for search and AskJeeves search engine on a same page.

But does that policy apply to the Adsense units too?

Meaning, does google allow Adsense units on the same page as another search engine, such as Ask Jeevs for example.

I don’t use Ask Jeeves, that’s just an example whether to see if google allows to have its Adsense units on the same page as another search engine, that is not google adsense for search.

AdSense WebSearch doesn't pay beans. You're much, much better off creating a search box where you capture everything that your visitors are searching for and create content around that.

Hey

I wasn’t intending to use google adsense search.

I was just asking is it allowed to have Google Adsense Units on the same page as another search engine, such as AskJeeves for example, and its only an example.

Um, for some sites it doesn't pay beans; our search revenue runs about 100 per month. That would be enough to buy that cool AS tracker program & keyword list :-)

AdSense WebSearch doesn't pay beans.

My eCPM from AdSense search is outstanding.

Am I right in understanding you want to know if you can put another kind of a Search on a page that has AdSense on it?

Also it the search you want to add one that pays per click?

Give us that information and hopefully it will help someone answer your original question. I am interested in answer as well.

Oney52 as far as I remeber without rereading the tOS it is okay. You cannot however have any other search if you are using google search. Since search came out long after adsense I think I would remember the uproar if google said no other search allowed. Again as always a quick email to confirm your actual situation would be in order.

It sounds like this would be OK (i.e., placing AdSense for content ads on the same page as an AskJeeves search bar), provided that there is other content on the page.

Feel free to sticky mail me your URL if you'd like me to give you a definitive answer about this.
