I saw the expected drop in traffic on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, but it bounced right back as expected.

However today I'm seeing an unexpected drop in traffic just like Christmas Eve. I expected it over the weekend for New Year, but is everyone taking today off too!

Not concerned, just wondering.

Been like that for days now, put it down to Christmas.

My clothing site is roaring ahead, food site slow, horse racing site has become dismounted.

Things will pick up, I keep checking the serps! Paranoid or what?

very, very big drop. as if it was a Sunday, not Friday. I'm thinking a lot of people are taking holiday time off before new years.

could be also linked to people using up their last vacation days before their expire per company policies.

Indeed, slow traffic and dito earnings today, but that's not too much of a surprise.

just had a funny image of people in a bubble working their a$$ off trying to guess what is happening outside the bubble, while others are out having fun, maybe the "I got kicked out of AdSense" is a deliverance not a curse.

On the contrary. My figures are always very consistent normally. But...

Normally its at about 75 dollars when I go to the pub.
Last few days (since google chose to sdisplay only 2 ads per block) its up to 85/6 Dollars instead!

So thats a sizable improvement. Click through is lower, epc is higher. Net result better.

We are having a great day.

Normal page views & CTR + higher eCPM = great income.

My site too dropped around Christmas, but traffic picked up starting Tuesday. I thought today would be off, but it's much better than expected.

It's the last work day of the year. Those who didn't have vacation left they had to use are counting on being sent home early before the long holiday weekend.

Although my stats are looking normal.

Yeah, I noticed the slow down about 3 drinks ago. Seriously though, it's the Friday before New Year's Eve and I'm wondering what I'm still dinking around on my PC for. Time for mw to go get a life! See you next year.

On days like this, I look at

[webhits.de...]

to view what is going on in the German internet.

Seems Thursday is below an average Sunday.
When I look tomorow in the morning on this stat,
I expect to see Friday in the range of a Saturday.
