How did you first hear about Google AdSense?

It is now clear to me that Google and Brett are working together :D You can't buy that kind of publicity.

woke up 1 morning and saw it at webmasterworld, even before the internal email from Google arrived.

and I remember rightly, it was not Brett or a moderator who broke the news, but a member called eaden
[webmasterworld.com...]

I saw it here first, too. Then it took off like wildfire ;)

I hope Google will really consider our wishes ;-)
Better reporting, one single account for adsense/adwords and direct deposit are the things I want most.

What I did not like all that much is, that Google asked for company specific questions, while tracking IP adress and adsense account id.

I read about it here on WW... I saw a few comments hinting at very good revenue. Naturally, that sounded odd enough that I had to check it for myself. :)

I saw it being used on another website and clicked the 'ads by google' link.....

So I was 4 weeks late in getting on board..... AAgghhhh

Think of all that lost revenue

I found out about it here, but I never started using it until last week.

Wow! Even my small websites are making money (only 600 page views per day). If I could get my traffic to increase to 6000 page views, I could quit my job!

I saw it on another forum (that competes with WW) within 24 hours of it being announced by Google. Signed up the next day. Generated first revenue on Friday, June 20, 2003.

I wonder if that survey brought new traffic from AdSense publishers wondering what WebmasterWorld is.

In my case it did. The coverage of Adsense was spotty on the "other" forum. So when I saw a reference to WW and its coverage, I checked it out. Quit going back to the "other" forum about one month ago. WW has much better coverage of not only Adsense, but all the other issues I track.

Large % of the WebmasterWorld regular members must have first read it on WebmasterWorld. Likewise with me also!
