separate accounts for husband and wife?

I have a well established site that's a good earner. My wife wants to dabble in adsense with some small sites, and I don't want anything she does in her experimentation to affect my adsense account.

I know that you can have multiple accounts registered to one postal address in the case of running businesses (which this will hopefully be). My question is, would Google regard the accounts as separate if they were paying the money into our joint bank account?

Yes, send them email (from your AdSense account) with what your wife wants and write down your reasons for new separate account for wife at same address. In most cases they will guide you through the process and will see the application got approved if everything is ok.

I have been using AdSense since over a year ago. Since last September, my wife joined AdSense.
So far, no problem.
But I operate(log-in to account, update sites, etc.) at my office and my wife operates at home with her notebook. We never mix location and I guess you know why.

Better use different bank accounts as well (or ask check for her).

Together with my brother we have 2 acounts on the same address. And by the way I think it was not best idea after all (1 year we dont have problems yet, though).

If he will get banned - I'll probably will go down too-
"connection with ....". You remember those threads...

Oh yes, I'm acutely aware of the connection with other account / I got banned threads. Hence I want to do this right. We both know enough about adsense to know what actions will get banned, and I know that if she messes up, I'll be booted too.

I have now asked Adsense the question, and will await their reply.

The best thing. They trust their publishers and will defiantly guide you through.

Your safest solution is to open a second bank account in your wife's name. A personal account will not cost you anything in the UK

Then get the Google payment by EFT into that account.

You then put into effect an automatic transfer to your joint account. Again that will not cost you on a personal UK account. Just leave a permenant minimum of £5 or whatever to keep the new account open.

joint bank account

OK, now that's just scary in the first place.

Been married over 15 years to wife #2 and we still have separate accounts and credit cards.

Makes life easier, no "what did you buy this for" or "what was that $500 withdrawal" conversations ever ;)

We both have separate AdSense accounts with no problem.

I can see why you might think that :)

We do have separate accounts for bills and income. The joint account is one we use for online income mainly for ease of accounting for the income, and also to make sure that income isn't swallowed into the black hole that is my main account without trace!

I'm running 3 accounts from the same computer for a year now without a problem.

One is my own.

One is my fathers. Once my dad saw my lifestyle, he wanted a piece of the pie... :)

One is my mothers. (but I also use this to test some less feasible ideas...)

My own account goes to my bank EFT. Both my parents receive a check at the same physical location. I've been travelling for a year without fixed address, and my address is also my parents.
