Image ads can be either CPM or CPC.

i've been waiting for that statement for months.
this validates my opinion to stay away from image ads..
- minimal ad inventory, minor interest on both sides, advertisers and publishers
- same ads repeating everytime causing boredom and banner blindness
- if accounted in cpc, no "branding-fee" included (click price has to be huge to compensate the publisher)
- most webmasters report bad experiences income-wise
- they are mostly designed by amateurs, don't fit in my page design and look cheap
- no adequate reporting, unawareness of accounting method
- no opt-out of cpm/cpc
did i forget something?
to my mind the system obviously doesn't work. google should take action on this one.
