Adsense earnings today.

How much they will go down from a normal weekend?

How much do you expect your earnings to lower today?
I think I'm going to have arround 40% of the earnings of the average last 4 saturdays.

Are your adsense earnings lower today, too?

Less visitors, but apparently smart pricing loves me today since earnings are the same.

Earnings down 40% but traffic is down 70% so I'm not complaining. And a very merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to everyone on this board!

Saturday+Christmas Eve=Worst of the year

Any more than that is a bonus!

Traffic is down considerably as expected, but ECPM is incredibly high so no loss in earnings at this time of the day. I am sure things will completely tank this evening.

Today is easily a record high day for me. Less than half the usual traffic, but above normal CTR and great EPC. Go figure.

much less traffic, but my revenue actually went up. believeitornot. must be smart pricing.

Revenue wouldn't go up just due to smartpricing....what'd happen roughly is that most advertisers won't turn off their campaigns on holidays. So, the demand for traffic (daily budgets) stays roughly constant (or goes down marginally), but the supply of clicks is down. Thus, the price of clicks goes up (higher EPC/CPM).

What likely happened is that everyone's traffic went down, but your traffic went down by LESS than your competitors in the same niche, and so you got a greater share of the advertiser's pie, and managed to actually increase your revenues.

I'm seeing traffic down about 75% for one of my major niches, but earnings down only 50%. Once January comes, everything should be back to normal in that niche. Some of my other niches don't have the same seasonality (i.e. actually get more traffic on the holidays/weekends), although those ones don't use AdSense.

Page impressions and click throughs dropped like a rock yesterday (friday) but the same thing happened last year. Assuming people come back after Christmas this will still be my best month ever.

Saturday 50% down in traffic and earnings

So far for today, Sunday, my Adsense looks broken since my logs report 10% of my normal traffic but according to Adsense I've had only 2% of page impressions and 1% of earnings!

Now what are they updating/changing?

Good day to do it though.

Come on folks!
Worst day of the year?
It is a wonderful day because it is Christmas for crying out loud! (That is, in the western world)
Happy Christmas to all of you!
Forget about the stats for one day!
By the way, my earnings aren't so bad at all today;-)

I was on pace for my best month ever, now I probably won't reach it. Really brutal week.

about 20% less page impressions for me, but CTR is better, so earnings come out fine.
