I'm not sure about other countries.
I believe it's not allowed in the US however I'm in the UK and have never had a problem in 2 years.
I hope adsense advisor is reading this, cuz UK members are probably reaping Adsense off all the time with these PO Boxes. Who knows how many Adsense accounts you have Optiprex? Why the heck do you need PO Box, can't you provide your real home address to Google?
Before we switched to electronic payment, we used our PO box as the mailing address. It is the official mailing address for the corporation, shouldn't be an issue for Adsense payment.
So you can open multiple accounts with multiple PO Boxes and take advantage of Google... I don't think that's right.
btw, google replied to me. They said its ok to use a PO Box to receive my monthly checks. Thanks everyone.

Hmmm...I have two Adsense accounts for two separate businesses, that's all.
My main business has used a PO Box for in excess of 25 years. It's a very common practice for European companies to use PO Boxes and it also means that we can collect post at 06.30 rather than having to wait until...lunchtime these days!

How are you taking advantage of Google this way? There's no difference if you have 2 accounts making $100 or 1 account making $200. So Google has to cut one more check the first way- that's certainly not going to cause their stoock to crash.
Actually, it could also work to Google's advantage if someone had multiple accounts. If someone had 3 accounts, with each of them making $40, that person wouldn't get a check for 3 months. But if all 3 accounts were rolled into one, he'd get a check for $120 after just one month.
they couldn't do it as individuals because they'd be providing the same Tax Information correct?
Would that not only apply to US taxpayers etc?
Those of us outside the US tax system who have alternative arrangements have to take care of ourselves.
Seems like an awful lot of effort just to run a scam on Adsense, which isn't even a guaranteed profitable business every time around.
Absolutely, to be honest I'm not quite sure what kind of scam could be easily and profitably done. Any ideas?
Thank you for your question about our policies regarding P.O. boxes.
In general, we're unable to accept post office boxes as payment
addresses
for AdSense publishers. We require that their address be a valid
residence
or business address.
We've noticed a correlation between use of P.O. boxes and fraudulent
activity. So, just like many credit card companies, we've taken the
precautionary step of no longer accepting P.O. boxes.
However, under certain circumstances we will accept P.O. boxes to
ensure
that publishers are able to receive payment.
We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you.
