Google ad for google

I noticed today that google is advertising for themselves today. I saw an ad today pointing to local.google.ca - is this something new? Description looks nice and I have no problem with it whatsover (I'm flattered if anything). I also tracked the channel and ecpm is also very nice. Anyone ever see this before?

have seen quite a few for froogle over the last month on a number of my sites and ecpm was acceptable

The only thing is froogle has not had the investment or attention G needed to give it to turn it into a good consumer option

This is one of the area's G falls down on by having to many irons in the fire not allowing them to spend enough time and effort
just some that appear to be good ideas with not enough follow through

Do a search for sitemap and look at the sponsored link.

Do a search for search engine and look at the advertisements at the right.

BillyS - yes, so google is using adwords themselves. Thank you, would have never cross my mind to check it that way.
