What is your best $$$ day on AS to date?

How much money did you make on your best day in 2005?

I expect this thread to have a wide range of numbers. The reason for my inquiry is motivational, and educational. I want to know where I can get to by the experiences of others. I know when I started with AS I was sooo happy to break the $10 mark (for the day). Now my top day is $27. My milestone will be the $100 mark for the day.

If you have a good story to tell, please do. I'm sure many of us would surely benefit from your story, and/or advice on the subject.

Also, do you set goals on what numbers you want to achieve?

I've had AS on my blog site since September 2004 and while I've had $10+ days here and there, my average is about $4.25 a day. I think my best was around $18 once, mostly coming out a single $15 click. Wish it were more? Yes. But I'm getting a deposit in my account every month and it more than covers what my site costs me so I'm happy.

It's important to remember that earnings posted in a thread like this don't really tell the whole story.

If you've got a 10,000 page site in a high paying area that draws 100,000 unique visitors daily earning a couple thousand a day might not be that hard, or that good.

If you've got a 50 page site in a obscure niche that only gets a couple hundred uniques a day and has a small pool of low paying advertizers you might be doing great at $50.00 a day.

There are so many varianles that these numbers just can't really be compared effectively.

Exactly ken_b! But also keep in mind, it is a numbers game. Increase the pages on your website or blog, and increase the traffic to those pages, then all the numbers are most likely going to increase as well. Including income from AS.

It is what I am focusing on, and it's working. I have double my impressions per day, and my AS income has also doubled.

Wednesday saw a 300 jump from my highest day with over 660, and then thursday was about 690, and then dropped yesterday to a more than expected income. I think this Ford campaign has to do with it, I've seen it on some sites, seen it on mine.

Best day close to $20. This year I made a total of $1200, not bad knowing that in 2004 I had ~10/month. My goal is to make $3000 in 2006 and reach $500/month by the end of the year. My main site is growing nicely, some of the smaller ones too, but not yet as good as I would like.

i make an average of $2.5 a day. this is from 9 sites i own. though 6 of these sites are new. wonder how many sites are being used to generate these "monster amounts" quoted here.

On Page 2 Message 17 of this thread....I was reading Brett's 26 Steps and have a question on Section G which reads:

From every page, link to one or two high ranking sites under that particular keyword. Use your keyword in the link text (this is ultra important for the future).

How does this help my site? Wouldn't this just be helping their site since I am not getting a return link from this site? I'm confused.............

Not sure what this has to do with anyone's best day ever but here is the idea behind linking to good sites.

I'm not sure it is happening yet but there is a good chance that Google is or soon will take into account if you are linking out to quality, especially authority, sites.

I also wonder if it gives you some protection in that if you link out to many good sites perhaps an accidental link or two to a bad neighborhood may be ignored.

Think what a quality content site would do. Google is trying to discern if you site is quality.
