Recently I started to buy cheap quality traffic, and the web pages where I redirected the traffic, has a CTR of 40% to 60%. My question is. Is this acceptable for google? Am I going to be penalized for having a high CTR?

This is the layout of my landing web pages.
------------------
- title -
------------------
- adsense links -
- --------- --- -
- -PP AAA - XXX -
------------------
- BBB more text -
------------------

PP = Picture related to the title. ej. if the title is ebay, the picture is the ebay logo.
AAA = Google Adsense (336 x280)
XXX = Little Registration Form.
BBB = Adsense Vertical ad.
I thing the high CTR is due to the webpage design and the quality traffic.

Thanks in advanced for you opinion.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS: FROM CAYETANOB

More details about these pages that has a high ctr.
1) Not all my pages has the same convertion, in most of them i hardly can have 3% CTR.
2) The only ones that have 40% or more are the ones that were designed specifically to have a high ctr or good adesense converSion.
3) An example of the structure of the landing page is:
Let me give you an example.
Suppose I buy the keyword "bank of america" so the landing page is like this:
--- above the fold ---
*title: "bank of america - credit cards"
*ads : adsense links (menu)
*description: a little description about the bank of america (200 words +/-).
*table with a title of "credit card tips of bank of america"
*inside the table is logo of bank of america (150x150) + adsense square (336x280) + registration form (200x300).
--- below the fold ---
*vertical adsense ad (in the left)
*lot of text (in the right).
*the bottom of the page has a copyright message and a link to the main page.
*beside this there are no more links in the page. This means the visitor has not more options to click on it.
---
4) The colors of the landing page ads and text, are in the same tone.
5) the registration form is an iframe, understand that after people click the submit button and get a thank you page, people is still in the same page, and this means people has the same adsense options to click on them.
6) the website is in spanish.

My conclusion is: "The high ctr is because of the quality traffic and the web page design".

Q&A

This is my secret niche, As others have said, tell no one.

"So you hide content from visitors, by putting it below the fold, so they can only click on Adsense? " -FromBelgium
When people comes to this pages has five options
--- above the fold --
a) Click in the ad links (menu) that is in the top.
b) Register in my little registration square (200x300)
b) Click on the adsense ad that is next to the main picture or logo.
--- below the fold --
d) read all the content
e) click in the vertical adsense that is in the left side of the content.

I haven´t say the size of the registration iframe yet. The registration form is not the primary content.
It is 200x300 more or less, it only has name, email, and send button.

"What I can say, though, is you can't put an ad block immediately under a "related articles"/"artículos relacionados" header without running afoul of the TOS." -hyperkik
Probably in this subject im encouraging people to click on the subject because before the ad I write
"Best tips to save on long distance calls" or something related to the subject.

"Yeah but someone crowing about 40% CTRs is not interested in the quality of visit for their visitors." -aeiouy
What else I sould do. Give me an specific reason what I have to do.

"what cayetanob has done is create a situation where his adsense looks like links... and he has made adsense the only above-the-fold choice his web surfers see... so of course it's going to have a huge page ctr." -danimal
Thank you danimal, seems that you underdstant what Im doing.

"You can not show me a site that gets 40% plus click-throughs that is relevant and chocked full of content." -aeiouy
You have no indea of what you are talking about. I didn´t say the whole site has a 40% CTR, only the web pages that I designed to have a high ctr.

"I would worry about is the 'quality traffic'. How well do you know this traffic source?" -Jolly_Roger
Im completly sure it is a reliable source.
