Payment in progress,

British Columbia, Canada

It was never this early, I guess Google wants to surprise us.

What about you? Anybody else got "PIP" this early?

Each month I see the expression "Payment in Progress" but I can't find such an expression anywhere in my account or payment page. Where is it?

Sirkei,

Under Payment History. 2-5 days before Google post a clickable payments link, its says "Payment in Progress..."

Nothing showing here either.

Sure it is not a hypothermic hallucination? No PIP here but it is rather cold here in Ireland. :)

He wishes! Nothing here, but then we have the "hold by 15th" note added, which may give a clue.

Perhaps next year if G still does not have EFT in more countries I might just change to secure delivery for the November cheque.

Then again with slow post around the world around Xmas I know I will be very pleased in January!

This is nothing new... Google has always paid the year's final payment early, likely for bookkeeping purposes. In 2003, the final payment was made on Dec 17th, in 2004 it was Dec 16th, and it looks to be about the same this year.

So basically, there is a real possibility that we could get a Payment in Progress in our account TODAY (December 16th)?

I can't check my account now because I am at work (we have an office party), but you guys, go ahead and check your accounts and let us know whether your got that magical "Payment in Progress" message this early.

Looks to me like either Refik was kidding, or he is the only one who has seen PIP so far.

I love the fact that a brand new member's first -- and so far, only -- post can generate a two-page thread about, well...nothing.

Well done, Refik.
