While working on my website on my hard drive, I accidentally clicked on one of the Adsense public service ads while checking the page in my browser. Didn't even know what happened until I got to the Red Cross site. Am I in trouble? It's easy to do and must happen a lot, though. :-(

Hi,

You're not supposed to click any of your ads, not even PSAs.

However, one accidental click will not have you shot, especially if you write and tell support to let them know that you did it.

Don't write support, don't waste their time or your energy, you're okay mate ;)

Just email adsense support to let them know. I've accidentally clicked on three occasions, have emailed them each time and got an email back thanking me for letting them know and reminding me of the TOS.

They know the difference between occasional accidental clicks and fraud.
