Okay, this is my second month of running adsense. I started about the end of September. In October I earned about $50 and I was hoping to reach my first $100 by the end of November...well, it looks like I am going to end up with a total of $97.29 (I think the Thanksgiving lull killed me). Guess I will have to wait until next year to get paid by Google. I've been working on adding content pages, but it seems like the search engines don't want to pick up my pages as quick as they picked up the first batch. Oh well, I guess patience is the key. I thought I would just share. If anybody has similar stories or if you have ideas on how to get picked up by the search engines quicker, I would love to here about it. I am always interested when I see somebody posting something like, "well, I put up a site about two weeks ago and now I am earning $30 a day from it".

And finally, thank you to all who frequent this forum and share tips and ideas. I have learned a lot from reading here, and I am really excited about what the future holds.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think Google will pay out 100% of earned money at the end of the year, even if you made less than $100-.

Congratulations!

Get your link on established authority sites (for example, if your link *somehow* got on the front page of Yahoo! with millions of visitors daily, that would have a tremendous pull to your site. Likewise, getting linked on a site in your niche that already has prominence in the search engines can often help get your site to be picked up faster).

Jeremy, that would be great. I hope you're right.

Play_Bach, yes, I have been working on getting some good links to my content and it does seem to be working.

you're doing just fine, like me. i started my site and adsense by 2nd week of september and earned $12 that month. on october i got $75, in november i've got $191. i have the same experiences, some of my pages where spidered right away but some have been forgotten. just wait for another weeks and it will be indexed, not sure if it will rank, just play with the keywords and contents.

on my 2nd month the reciprocal links works for me and got a PR4 and PR3 on my pages that early.

For your pages to be indexed faster you will need backlinks to your sites from powerful sites (high PR).

If you are wanting to make more money, I suggest that you start making more sites. Only build sites that you would be proud to show people -- stay away from scrapers and other rubbish. It may take time but in the long run you may do very well.

Good Luck!

When you say backlinks from high PR sites what does that mean? Links pointing to your site from high pr sites, or recip links? Thanks
