Intellitext ads and Adsense?

Does anyone know if you can run Intellitext ads on the same page as AdSense? Intellitext ads are those underline things you see on some sites. When you run your mouse over the underlined word, a summary of the ad pops up, then if you want to see the whole ad, you click on it and a new page with the ad on it opens.

I've been trying to find this out myself. I contacted the AdSense staff (regarding Kontera, which has the same service as Intellitex) and they said it wasn't allowed, but I see it all over the place. I am not sure if they knew exactly what I was referring to. Kontera has a contextual ad system as well as the "underlined keyword" system. While the former is definitely against the AdSense TOS, I don't think the latter is, but I dont' t hink I was able to convey to the AdSense team exactly what I was referring to. If anybody has any concrete answers please let us know!
