Hi,

For those who use adlinks or have used adlinks, how did they preform for you?

Thanks

Adlinks are a different format of ad--instead of ads, they are links to a page of ads. Go poke around on the AdSense site and you'll find information.

As for how they are performing, my ONE Adlink is doing just great, thank you. I tried them various places and never found a spot for them, until I figured out how to insert one on my home page. That one unit brings in from a quarter to a half of the earnings for the site....

They don't work in the same way adblocks do, so you have to try different things.

Novice, that was nice of you, but sheesh, Jay, can't you go look for yourself and think about how it works before asking a question like that?

Adlinks have performed well for me on several of my sites. My adsense income is in the mid 4 figure range per month and adlinks bring in 1/3 of the total.

They seem to pay more per click than my regular adsense ads on the same topic.

AdLinks do 1/3 of the total here as well. However the earnings on regular ad units went down somewhat as well, but the bottom line is still up. EPC is roughly the same.

I run both a 160x90-4 link adlinks block and a 300x250 regular ad block on about 1,200 pages.

The adlinks is above the fold on a 800x600 screen and the regular ad block just below the fold. On a 1024x768 screen both ad blocks are above the fold.

Adlinks performs about 20% better than the regular ad block.

Adlinks are the best channel I have.

768 x 5 links under nav menu and looks just like nav menu.

Superb!

About 1/6 of my income. Some days great, some days nothing.

Using a 120x90 link on the page.

Why not just replace the navigation altogether? ;)

They work really great on most sites, but not on smaller multi-topic sites.

Ha-ha! I just did on one site, and it sure seems to be working.

I just don't get it... I have adlinks on two sites. With about 2,000 page views per day, I have received a total of 0 clicks on these channels for the month of November. Placement is jut below the top nav section, which I would think would be prime.

I have adlinks in a top nav bar and they get a higher ctr than the standard ad boxes and it also represents 1/3 of the AS income, i like them. Some people think they are tricky but i like them and will stick with them.

Google designed them to look like navigation links. Nothing tricky about them, you can't change the layout even if you want to.
