Just checked my remaining Englisch PSA replacements from Chitika.

Regardless of the keywords over 5 different sites, they show only sunglasses from Amazon.

Natural, the CTR is in the range, where my last experience with anti targeted banner advertising in the year 2000 was.

My own PSA replacements on the German sites have around 5% CTR.
Very well for an untargeted general ad for all my sites.

When I calculate 5% click on my own PSA replacement,
and they click with the same rate again on AdSense,
this would mean to convert 0,25% of PSA to clicks.

They could also bookmark my site,
become a repeated visitor,
use my RSS feeds,
downlaod my RSS reader (open source)
with all my RSS feeds pre installed.

That's far more than Chitika delivers with this anti targeted sun glasses ads.

As soon as I start to translate 2 more sites from me to English, I will replace also my English PSA with ads for my own sites.

Did you run Chitika in contextual mode?
I wonder if that would make much of a difference.

I use in my CMS a field for Amazon books.
I can define for the whole site, a folder, a file
a querry to put Amazon ads for certain themed books as a PSA replacement.

I use the same method now for Chitika.
