Im not sure about this!
I run a site that generates about 250,000 page views a day and I was wondering if Im allowed to add pop ups (just one per page) to my site? Is this agisnt AS TOS?

If I asked is because I did not find clear on the TOS.

I've seen members who use a pop up and say it was ok. I've seen the TOS and it used to say that maximum one. I've seen that is not allowed. So Im confused that why I was coming to the forum to see if someone would help me with my questions.....

Yes, but I suggest you to limit this to only one if you wish to keep your visitors.

It's not a yes or no because the TOS is worded in such a way to allow interpretation of it by Google. the TOS says:-

Pop-ups, pop-unders or exit windows that interfere with site navigation, obscure Google ads, change user preferences, or are for downloads. Other types of pop-ups, pop-unders, or exit windows may be allowed, provided that they do not exceed a combined total of 5 per user session

So if they obscure the ads, interfere with site navigation etc. then you are deffinitely foul of the TOS. We can't see your site, so you have to make that judgement call on if the pop ups comply with the above or not. If you have any doubts email google. However, they will probably put it back to you to make the decision quoting the above rule.
