No image ads for niche?

It appears that my website's subject is a low-paying advertising niche, and I've only just realized there don't seem to be any image ads for it either. Is this possible? Although I've always chosen ads that are supposed to display both text and images, I haven't seen an image ad on my site yet. To test this, earlier today I put an all-images skyscraper on my site, and so far it's only shown public service ads.

Have you tried using the preview tool and setting the geotargeting to show US ads?

But why would you want image ads? In my experience they have a low CTR.

I have only text ads. Image ads will take up an entire block for one ad, when you could be showing 4. Many feel that image ads earn you less anyway.

Thanks very much for your replies. Just thought I'd try the image ads and see what happened--thought they might attract more clicks due to being more noticeable. Didn't realize they had low CTR, so I'll just stick to the text ads then, I guess.

I've never downloaded the preview tool because I have an old computer and need to clean up my hard drive somewhat before I put yet another piece of software on it--something I just don't seem to get around to. :-)

Thanks again.
