I ran the Yahoo ads for about 15 days... targeted the ads with the Yahoo tools... still made NO money.
I have taken the Yahoo ads off those pages and put the AdSense ads back on... I am now making money from those pages again...
What have you discovered with Yahoo ads?
Well, the site we signed up with Yahoo for some reason has no problem with targeting and the income is about the same as adsense.
But then we tested it on other topic sites and the targeting was default ads for weeks, so I put adsense back on. If they could straighten out the targeting I think they would do very well.
The sites are very focused and they should have had no problem with them finding ads, but... I was impatient. I'll try Yahoo again some other time.
Sure does seem strange not having all your eggs in one basket. Haven't got used to it yet.
For arguments sake, let's say someone has 1,000 impressions a day with Chit and gets one click.
Is that a good eCPM?
You tell me.
I'm workin my butt off to diversify- and liking Adsense more, each time the others fail.
But by taking AS off the low performing pages, the CTR goes up on others...so the decisions are baffling.
