I run a website/fansite for a celebrity site which generates around 2m page views per month. The domain name is the celebrity's name and the site includes copyrighted content which, to date, I've been allowed to use.
I've never run ads on the site and am considering doing so.
Will AdSense have any objection to me running ads on this type of site?
and, does have anyone have experience runnning ads on a similar type of [celebrity] site?

thanks in advance

There's one way to find out.
Unless it touches on porn or mp3 download, why not?
Only problem you need to make sure you have good text content, your ads are limited to dvd and music sales which I heard here is not making too much money. But even with low CPC with your volume of traffic you should reap some good cash.

Celebrity sites (be they community-based or gallery-based) tend to have pretty poor AdSense results, but that doesn't mean that it won't work for your site. With that kind of traffic it's definitely worth it to check it out sooner rather later.

You may also want to check out Chitika as that is likely to work better for a specific celebrity/graphical site.

Ask ElvisFan who posts here.
