I was wondering whether something that I thought is legal or in breach of Google's adsense contract. I could not get any ads to display on my site. It is a php site and hence the problem, I've tried most "solutions" for php sites I even got a response from a google agent giving me a few tips but no matter what I did I could only get Public Service Ads to display on my site. So I've created another html file I've entered information which is relevant to my site, added the adsense code and I could then get proper ads just fine. So what I did next is to inlcude this html page on my php main site using iframes. Is that ok? I have read the contract but i could not get any relevant information about it. I even emailed google but strangely enough I got no response. Now lets say that what I am doing is ok. what if I put content on the htm page which is NOT relevant with my site. Will that be a breach of contract? Anyone?
Thank you for your time.
"If your page uses Frames, make sure that the code is pasted into the frame that contains your page's main content. We use this content to target ads"
so I guess it's allright.
My site is about football/soccer. On one of the html files that I've created only for showing ads the content is about computers, which has nothing to do with my site, the ads I get from that html file are about computers, I was wondering whether this is ok or not...
The answer is quite simple: mod_rewrite. Google it.
Frames is a hackish way of doing it and I can't imagine spending time doing manual keyword stuffing for every article. Plus you'll get booted from adsense.
thank you all for your replies
Personally I would prefer not to use frames, also I would prefer to keep one web site per topic, but this a matter of taste and has nothing to do with TOS.
Hiding content is a big nono, stuffing keywords too, but having frames as well as 2 or more themes in the same site is another, jomaxx please give us a quote or link to confirm your statement, just curious.
