Did any adsense publisher started using the new intermission ads from adbrite? I'm interested to see how that affects your adsense revenues.
According to adbrite, intermission ads are not like pop-up ads, there are no ads involved, instead, the advertiser's website itself will show up, I think on top of your website. But they say this never happens to first-time visitors, and even with recurring visitors, they get to see the advertisr's site only once in 24h period.

I wonder if google will have any objection to using this new intermission ads with adsense. They are direct ads, because adbrite sends you first the advertiser's url to see if you approve it or reject it. So, I think it doesn't violate adsense policy, but a word from ASA would be great.

I had not tested but I think it is a Layered Ad, I really mind this type of ad, Really frustating, My suggestions stay away from it.

Pop-ups, pop-unders, those irritating ads that float across news sites, interstitials, intermissions, etc.

All horrible gimmicks that might earn a few bucks in the short-term but annoy visitors and threaten long-term site loyalty.
