Newbie question on eCPM

Guys, very inspiring and informational board. I just started with Adsense some days ago. I am seeing impressions and clicks on my report but no earnings or eCPM (both 0). I can understand if its low but why 0. Aren't all clicks supposed to be paid some amount or am I missing something here ?

You could either be getting very very low priced clicks (I doubt it, you can't be smart priced already), or google may be following your account closely since it's new, verifying the clicks and crediting you for them later.

You sure you haven't clicked your own ads? That would show up as $0.00 clicks.

I might have clicked twice but that too from a different machine and different network.

Btw.. how would they track if I've clicked it?

Could you elaborate more on this? Is this a known fact?
I recently had an accidentaly click on an ad on my own site and according to the channels, it seems it didn't count, which of course is good and fair.
But if this is the case, then clicking own ads should be the last thing to be booted for, since seems under tight control...

excuse me if I am wrong, but it looks like its your clicks that are being shown and G is watching, and, you seem to understand something about click fraud

Seems like your asking for confirmation if they can or cant, if they can you need to know how so you can workout if they gotcha.

Another way to look at it is, you have set it all up and clicked the ads on your own site to see if its all working and cant understand how your not seeing any earnings, be warned "DONT click the ads on your site" dont tell friends or family to either it will end up in tears and the start of another "I was banned" threads.

why would I click on my own ads, the few cents in income wont do much good would they? .. why the sarcasm for a newbie who is just trying to understand and asking for help.
