why would someone being trying to access?

I don't run the script, not even 100% sure what it is (I think alternative ads). Anyway, looking through my logs I see someone trying to access the file even though it does not exisit. So if I want to run it in the future, should I? Is there some type of security risk and maybe why someone it trying to open that file?

its for collapsing ad units, check you cp about half way down till you see "To replace public service ads, enter a URL for alternate ads or select a color code here" click learn more and read ;0

also curious to know why someone would be trying to access that page on my site - to see what alternatives I may be running, or some other malicious reason?
