I noted one of my channcels in adsense report as follows:

Page impressions = 1
Clicks = 3
Page CTR = 300%

How to explain this?

leunga,
Google auditing clicks and -or- impressions could show this. There is a delay in showing impressions and clicks.
Just give it an hour or two and all should fall in place

Is auditing an usual, automated process? How often they audit?

Early in the morning you'll see things like that.

I've learned to keep the panic flag down until AdSense is into hour 10-12 for the day. The stats usually look pretty normal by then.

How to explain this?

All it means is that one person clicked on 3 ads displayed on one page...nothing to worry about at all, I've seen way higher than that and especially with Adlinks.

It's quite common when:

click thru...not what I'm looking for...click back...
click thru...not what I'm looking for...click back...
click thru...what I'm looking for...or goes off elsewhere in frustration.

This demonstrates two things:

1. Why the advertiser should have a good landing page.

2. That some sites spread their keywords so wide with the hope of visitors that many times the visitor throws their arms in the air in despair at the site they've arrived!

Queue ebay and scraper sites!

Dear OptiRex,

Will Adsense count below situation with three separate valid clicks?

click thru...not what I'm looking for...click back...
click thru...not what I'm looking for...click back...
click thru...what I'm looking for...or goes off elsewhere in frustration.
