How strict are the Adsense policies?

Gambling or casino-related content

Anyone know is sites with a small amount of such content will or can be accepted?

As an example, let's say I have a site about affiliate programs, broken into 10 basic categories. One of those categories is concerned with casino-related affiliate programs. Could such a site be accepted into the program if Adsense wasn't displayed in those areas?

Or will that portion of the site keep Adsense from accepting me at all?

Google may not consider the discussion of casino affiliate programs as casino-related content, but the best way to find out is to ask them.
