Pretty sure posting all that info is against the TOS for Adsense.

I know posting a link at the bottom of your post is a violation of the WebmasterWorld TOS.

It is just smart-pricing at work. But to go from 33 cents a click to HALF A CENT, wow.

Woah there, don't jump to conclusions.

Look at the site.

I had a link from Mac Bytes yesterday which cause all that traffic.
There is nothing underhand here.
I have on my site pictures of the UK Macworld conference/expo, that a lot of people obviously wanted to look.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld albanwr

Hehehe...you've fallen for that one haven't you? Trash, utter and complete trashy garbage...! You've been reading too many magazines and "other" forum boards.

The first thing I do when installing any new system is to remove Alexa and as for Page Rank...has it ever worked correctly?

I seem to remember a couple of days a couple or more years agoooooooo...

I had a link from Mac Bytes yesterday which cause all that traffic.

Haven't you answered your own question or am I mssing something?

My main question is on the 31st of October I get $4 for a few clicks and then get (nothing ) On the 1st of November for loads of clicks.

P.S Thanks for the welcome. Especially after the previous comments!

Perhaps they were invalid clicks? Which seems a very good posibility since the day before you only got 1/2 cent a click. Someone seems to be a bit clicking crazy...

then get (nothing ) On the 1st of November for loads of clicks.

Because the visitors only came to see your photos etc. They were being vain to see if they were included?

I see your Adsense is on a blog...from what I've read they're not very high click thru sites, maybe someone else can advise since I don't use them.

I did notice when I looked that 4 ads were for blogs and 1 for Bill Gates...on a refresh at least 3 Mac ads and 2 for tech repairs...hmmm...not the way to a million methinks.

I don't think anyone can explain to you exactly what is happening. When you have a smallish number of clicks, funny statistical things can happen.

What worries me is the 8 clicks for $0.00. It looks like some clicks might be getting filtered. You're not clicking any ads on you own site, are you?

I am filtering nothing. This is what I cannot understand.

Here's what you should do. Change domain! It's the quickest way to fix that stupid smart-pricing. But you've got 8 clicks for $0, I'd email adsense about it.

But you've got 8 clicks for $0

However did those click thrus immediately click back?
