After removing pop-unders from my site and inquiring with Google, I got this message:

<snip>

Summary of quote by Jenstar: FastClick pop-unders are not violating AdSense policies as long as there are not more than two pop-unders per session.

[edit reason] Sorry, no email quotes please, as per TOS [/edit]

That tiny little mention of "Site may not include: Pop-unders or exit windows" in the AdSense policies is definitely causing lots of problems with what is and isn't allowed on a site running AdSense. Others have also gotten clarification on this as well, but many others are afraid to ask, because they don't want to draw attention to themselves ;)

Hopefully this will be cleared up in the next version of the AdSense policies - I would like to see them specify a little better what pop-unders are allowed without breaking the rules.

I also inquired and received permission to run FastClick pop-ups along with AdSense.
