Detecting JS and if needed serving

I would like an example of how to detect JS active and either serve an Adsense ad or something else that does not require JS instead. I am currently getting anywhere from 20% to 30% less pageviews from adsense than from my other adzone.

Maybe I'm missing something, but <noscript></noscript> should do it, yeah?
