These upgrades, launched throughout Q1 '05, provide increased transparency of results via the LookSmart Advertiser Center and more "hands on" contact by service personnel to all of LookSmart's customers. The changes are in reaction to research the company performed in early Q1, which indicated LookSmart's customer base has become increasingly sophisticated. Key reporting features added to LookSmart's Advertiser Center include: one-hour delay reporting at the keyword level to increase transparency of results; keyword suggestion tools enabling advertisers to buy both the "head" and "tails" of relevant inventory critical to their success, and hourly campaign spend totals so advertisers can easily monitor and manage budget reserves and optimize performance. The benefits of these upgrades are to allow for increased advertiser ROI through timely reporting and enhanced data analysis.

I don't know why but I've never even investigated LookSmart. What kind of results are ya'll getting advertising with their PPC program?

sophisticated means what? no longer using LookSmart due to their low traffic quality?

very good point...I hope it didn't take them too long to figure out that their advertisers don't think too highly of them.

I've found looksmart traffic to be complete garbage. Total waste of money it's full of click fraud.

I am sure Looksmart has really struggled since MS let them go...that's what was keeping them moving forward...now they linger in the backwash of traffic relationships and do not produce good ROI...there was a time when you could realize some good ROI (if you watched things very closely)...
