Can any one tell me that are those companies saying that they will put a website URL on 300, 112 or 500 search engines every month for $21.00 or $27.00 per month?

Can I trust them?
If not, can any one help that what search engines would be good for my website to advertise with (USA,UK, Spain, Italy, Australia )? Online Accommodation Booking
Which way would be economical and affective, PPC or Month payment?

I am completely new to the search engines ad and I have just put my site online 4 week ago and need to advertise for it.

Thanks

The monthly submissions are worthless, ppc can be very affective but you'll need ROI tracking to know which phrases are profitable for you.

Thanks for comments,
How many search engines shall I start with?
Is it worth to start with most popular engines like (google, MSN, Yahoo, AOL) with PPC option?

If you decide to go the ppc route Overture (which powers Yahoo, MSN, etc) and Google adwords (which powers Google, AOL, etc) are usually a good bet. There are also many smaller engines that are cheaper but tend to have lower conversion rates (you can look through the ppc forum for info on these). Just remeber ROI tracking is a must for proper ppc management...

What's the use of paying someone to list you on 500 SE's if 499 of those SE's only get 1 visitor a month?

[ppc-directory.com...] lists over 200 SE's.

[payperclicksearchengines.com...] lists over 600 SE's.

[webmaster.net...] lists the 100 most popular.

Try a few out, find the ones that produce the results you desire, and concentrate on them.

Drewbert,

I am sure just about all of them get more than 1 visitor a day. I mean once they get picked up by the auto-magic submission services they probably post hundreds or even thousands of pageviews a day... err... um... all of them robotic... ;)
