I understand this topic has been discussed in the past. However i would like to ask for more current feedback on the use of 2nd / 3rd tier PPC Search Engines such as Kanoodle, Findwhat, Enhance, Mamma, Ask Jeeves, etc.
We are thinking of expanding from Overture and Google. Please let me know what you think.
I was thinking perhaps with all these changes in the search engine industry, the 2nd / 3rd tier players are doing something different to distinguish themselves. Ask Jeeves, Mamma, and Kanoodle seem to have been in the news a lot over the past 2-3 weeks.
I really appreciate your help
Jimmy
Uses adwords ;) buy into the Google system, and you get there by default. A lot of the meta engines also use Google or Overture results.
So you've got perhaps 80-95% of the market cornered, imho. The rest of the names you mention - I'd say test, see what the ROI is, and then if it works for you, up the ante till you hit your desired CPA / CPO for the spend.
Solid, granular tracking tools are really the keys to determining where to spend your budget, imho.
