Viewing US Google Adwords

How can I view Adwords as if I were sat in the US

Can anyone tell me how I can view Google results (Adwords) as if I were sat in the US.

Google knows from my IP that I am in the UK and therefore displays UK adwords whether I go to .co.uk or .com

I had exactly the same question a while ago and it took me ages to get the answer from Google but finally they answered the question.

Do a search on www.google.co.uk for your chosen keyword. Then add &gl=US to the end of the URL that is in the top of your web browser and reload the page.

You will now see the US targetted adwords adverts appearing on the right hand side.

What's working for me:

Go to Google.com. You will be redirected to Google.< your country>, but there is a link to Google.com saying "Google.com in English".

Once you do this Google memorizes this in a cookie.
