Is this service any good?

I got an email from Keyword Conversion and they are trying to sell me their service. Has anyone received the same email? Is it even worth looking into? I get many emails like this and most of them are not any good, but I wondered if anyone else has heard of this company and has used them?

Get lots of them. Most are 100% pure crap. The rest are 75% pure crap. :). Manage it yourself and your save a bundle and have piece of mind. If you need some PPC support, I guess you can try GoToast. I have heard good things about them. There is not magic formula that can make your items or site sell better than it is now. All you need to do is play with your action words and phrases. For example, instead of Joe's Computer Hardware, you just be more specific and target the particular product and user snazzier taglines; "Kingston memory at low prices." Just an example.

I make a habit of not dealing with any firm that resorts to unsolicited email. Quality advertising, word of mouth, high search engine placement all entice me... not spam!

I rely on word of mouth (generally through this forum) and haven't been burned yet. I'm shocked how many people I know have tried these services. Do it your self and you'll have much better results.

To answer the original posters' question, there are some very legit and good bid manager outfits. It shouldn't be hard to locate them by Googling or by checking out the profiles of some of the active participants here at WebmasterWorld.
