Just got hit for a $50 auto-renew which I never agreed to. I track closely my conversion rate between Overture, Google, Kanoodle, FindWhat, and Ah-ha.

My report for month-to-date is 676 clicks @ $.066 per click for a total of $44.44.

676 clicks this month. Not one red cent in orders. Not a penny. Zilch. Nada. Nothing.

I've thought all along that Ah-ha must encrypt the URL or somehow alter it so that my simple tracking URL is not operating when clicked on but just havent had the time to check it. Wrong. I just did a search on my highest clicked search term (for which, I might add I am supposed to be #1, but showed up at #17), sent me to the tracking URL. I placed a test order and checked tracking. It tracked the order.

Bottom line: I've been screwed for about 6 months now. Not alot of money compared to my $110/day to Overture and half that to Google, but screwed nonetheless. To add insult to injury, I just did a random search on the major networks Ah-ha claims to advertise on. Not only did I only find my ad on one network (Metacrawler), I never found saw my 80x40 button for which I'm also paying $10/month.

Calling first thing in the morning to give Ah-ha the opportunity to refund the $50 or I am contesting the charge. I feel cheated. There's no way this can be justified. Very, very fishy.

Signed,

Amen. Ah-ha is no good.
