Another Overture / AdWords wannabe?

Just got an email from the above who I'd never heard of. Encouraging me to join their affiliate program. Normal claims about being one of the most generous affiliate programs around - claim to pay 70% of CPC to affiliate.

In their About Us section they state the following:

The mission of Xatex is to allow advertisers a reliable advertising medium to bring targeted traffic to their site, allow our visitors to find what they are looking for, and to expand our popularity via our affiliate program.
Xatex is intended to be a very simple, easy to use website without any unneccessary features.

It would appear unneccessary features includes having anything returned in search results. Hopeless!

As a matter of principle, I would never buy/join anything from anyone who contributes to the merciless deluge of crap in my inbox every day. Delete Delete Delete! Until their ROI makes it a useless advertising medium, this will continue. Perhaps we should forward it all to our elected officials!
