Has anyone noticed anything akward going on with these ads lately? For the last year they have always been on one of my keywords and always bidding the lowest bid.

Recently my cpc has gone way up and they are still the only ad under me. Every day I have to adjust my bid because there ad never qualifies for the blue box and it keeps me out. I need to play with my bid constantly to somehow push them up into it while also getting my ad in the blue. It's usually only a difference of $.01 that pushes them up or not.

Their ad is totally irrelevant and makes no sense. I honestly don't see how it stays running. Just broad matching a term that give no relevant information. I'm wondering if Google has made changes recently that are causing these weird fluctuations in rank that are associated with the mass broad matchers.

It's like their ad is qualified for the blue box one day, then a day later its not, then the day after that it is.

It seems like its just trying to force me to pay more.

Oh, and by difference of $.01 I mean, if I bid $.12 I am below him and we are both on the right. When I bid $.13 I go to the top and he stays on the right.

Just yesterday I was bidding $.12 and I was below him, but both on top. The day before it was similar. Minor differences in prices that trigger a bump to the top for both of us or not.

It's like somehow they are adjusted to the exact price that makes it impossible for me to keep my high CTR without paying 3-5 times as much.
