Content only campaign?

Is that possible?

I remember it was not possible to exclude Google and the search network in the past.
But now I see the adwords control panel allows me to uncheck "Google Search" and also the "Search Network".
So, could I run a content only campaign?

I just tried to do this and it looks like it can be done.

Yeah, I've done it before. I cloned some of my existing campaigns and targetted them to content only (so I could track separate from search). From memory I did it just as you suggested, by unchecking the boxes.

It was actually a profitable experiment & good learning experience from my point of view. I got lots of clicks but no sales, convincing me that the content network was inappropriate (or I lacked the skills to make it work) for these campaigns.

Good Luck with your own endeavours.
