Google's security code not working?

I was updating my credit card in google but i notice that when I type in a wrong CVC2 code it stlll accepted my credit card but before it would say declined. Is this a google glitch? Because if it is then some one with a credit card number can just pay for Google even though they have the wrong cvc2 code

This is more likely a problem with your bank than with G.
