All the competitor ads that are displayed dont have a problem, but none of my ads will display the dynamic keywords - always the backup text.
any idea on what might cause this?
thanks

Usually this happens when the dynamic keyword (eventually including other "constant text" in the title) is longer than 15 char. Try to shorten the title or the keyword so the total will be under 25 chars.

hi mike
the keywords are shorter than 15 charcters, and there is no other text. Others are using them without problem :(

ok, so there can always be a bug... still, have you tried to clear your cache, restart and try again?

Hi Mike
Ive tried different browsers and different pcs - always the same. My ads use the backup text, all the others use dynamic keywords :(

benihana, probably the most effective way to address this would be to contact AdWords support, and have them to take a look at the way in which you are using 'dynamic keywords' in your account.

AWA,
Just FYI I also have this problem in an A.G. in my account. I haven't had time to contact my rep. Thought that might be useful for you to pass on :)
