When will we ever see a timer feature with Adwords? I for one only target traffic during the working hours of my company and it's real tiring telling my employees to turn off the adwords at 5:00 every day when Google should have this feature already incorporated. Also what needs to be done is a feature to remove your adwords from Google's search network! I unlike most of you do not wish to recieve AOL users on my site because 90% of them are a pain in the A$$! I target businesses and do not want the homeowner even wasting a second of my toll-free phone costs, nor do I want them clicking on my $3.00 per click advertisement. And whats even worse is when I get people calling me up that are AOL subscribers wondering why they can't access my site?! Well HELLO, your AOL ip block has been denied access.

We can surely remove the content sites we don't want to display our ads so why can't we remove our sites from your search network affiliates? This is a feature that is long overdue as well as a timer feature. I know many of us have to adjust our advertising on a daily basis, and further more if we forget we didn't turn them off we get charged all night long or sometimes Google has SYSTEM MAINTENANCE and we can't get in to turn off our adwords.

hi there,

I for one am up for having day parting as an excellent feature, but one thing that would really help me in one of my sites is "weather parting" depending on the country average temperature or cloud cover (i'm in the UK). We have one particular site that generates more than a 500% increase in conversion rates when the weather is good and sunny.

Doubt this will ever come along though. wishful thinking.

I wonder how hard it would be to create an interface where the user could create the variables that would then be used to allocate the budgets through some sort of automated feed? mmmmm

I'll pass this feedback on later in the week. Thanks to you both.

I'll try to make that 'weather parting' sound particularly enticing in the Advertiser Feedback Report, briggidere. ;)

Seriously, though - it's a very interesting idea that I've not heard before.

Thank you AWA! I'm surprised that nobody else is commenting in this thread about a timer feature or the search network exclusion possibility...but anyway...Thanks again AWA!

Hi,

I've asked for the timer and exclusion features before, and don't want to drive AWA nuts telling her over and over...

But the automated feeds things is good. In particular I was thinking of automatically turning up my bids and budgets when my servers are underutilised to make better use of installed plant... But it occurs to me that since Analytics has a good view of traffic patterns to my site(s) it would be easy I suspect to have a simple relationship like:

Boost my bids and/or budget by X% in the following campaigns when my page impressions are Y% below the 7-day moving average/lower-quartile/whatever...

timer - rumours have it that it is on its way

weather - receptional discussed this a while back. api would allow this sort of thing.
