Google Search Or Search Network?

Which has better conversions?

Just curious if anyone has done testing to see which has a better conversion rate. I'm interested in those who have experience in the finance leads area. Does Google search convert better than the search network? Reason I ask is because I'm thinking about turning off the search network to see how Google Search on its own converts, but thought I'd see if others had experience first...

Certain slices of the search network outperform Google by far, but Google as a whole converts better for me, but only because of a handful of deadbeat search network partners.

Hi,

IMHO it depends on the topic (ie keywords) and the geographic area that you are advertising to.

For example, I am very careful with the Search Network in AsiaPac (Thailand seems to be particularly dodgy for my topics for some reason) though with lots of negative keywords things are a little better.

There are some egregious paid-to-surf sites that you want to avoid one way or another in any case...

Thanks guys....maybe I'll go ahead and try turning the Search Network off to see how it works out. If I can raise my bids to increase click volume yet maintain ROI that would be the best thing....if it fails, I can always turn the Search Network on again ;)
