I have two ads in several adgroups which seem to be drawing traffic irrespective of ctr. In other words the ad with higher ctr (2.1%) is being served 1% of the time, whereas the ad with lower ctr (1.9%) is being served 99% of the time. These ads have been running for a long period and have received substantial traffic over time. I am thinking that maybe G somehow uses conversion rates to increase quality score for those of us that adjust bids based on conversion costs. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone know if ad quality score takes into account conversion rates?

maybe the ad with lower CTR is more relevant for google but less attractive to human user?

Quick question - are those all time stats, or stats for a short period of time?

e-Whisper, those stats are from January 1st. Since Jan 1st these are the stats for one of the adgroups:

Ad1
127 clicks
5.6% ctr
served 1.7%

Ad2
5777 clicks
4.4% ctr
served 98.3%

Both cpc the same. Ad1 has been running for over a year and Ad2 for about four months. Since four months ago each ad received about 6500 clicks.
