I was trying to make some terms exact match and when I hit save I got this message.

Hi Boston,

I get it on average of once a month. I thought it may have been because I had another session open either in a different window or on another PC.

The multiple AdWords windows are a usual habit of mine though, so I can only imagine the error is caused by a stochastically determined set of circumstances ;)

I just move on (and always paste to Notepad first!)

I get it all the time, and I have complained about it a few times. It NEVER happened until they added the budget optimizer stuff (even though I don't use it) and I have pointed that out to Google, but they claim it has nothing to do with the problem. All I know is what I know. I've been using AdWords since it started, and I only started getting that message when the Budget Optimizer code went in. You do the math.

I get the message a couple of times a month when doing different things in accounts. It just seems to be a small bug.

It's a small bug except for when you've made a bunch of changes and saved them, and then you get this message and have to go back in and do them again. Then it becomes an extremely IRRITATING small bug.

Netmeg, Im pretty sure I used to get this message even before the optimizer, although I could be wrong. I always assumed it was just down to the size of the system, huge number of users, system just gets confused every so often and seems to forget what it was doing.

Nutmeg,

I wouldn't even dream of doing substantial work without working off a saved text file. Aside from the "Not processed" message, haven't you ever just gotten the old "page cannot be displayed" too or a complete lockup?

Took me a while to learn that, of course...

Save your sanity!

I just love how their answer for every reported 'bug' in their system is 'have you tried clearing your cache and cookies'?

Advertisers wouldn't have to clear the cache and cookies so often if their programming was better. Fix the problems, don't just teach the 'workaround'.
