So,

I am looking to get my ad optimized so that it has a better chance of being listed on the first page of PPC ads.

My bidding is certainly in line, but right now google is placing us on around the 4th page of results.

The low CTR is probably the biggest reason for this, but of course, CTR seems to go down as you dig deeper into the results.

Any tips for bringing up quality or CTR?

We currently:
- have optimized the landing page (title,h1,etc)
- use the keyword terms in the description and title of the ad
- keep the url as simple as possible

any other thoughts for improving quality?

Make sure the keywords appear on the landing page, not positive but is seems like if the exact keyword you purchase appears on the landing page the minimum bid ends up being lower.

A better call to action, discount, promo or something like that can help to get the CTRs up.

Include the keyword(s) in the adword heading/text
(that will also make it come up bold and increase your ctr)
